The links lead to alternative photos from my Instagram. Particular highlights were the first course and the 5th through 7th course (white asparagus through madai)
General info:
Price: $198 on Tock (includes everything outside of supplements and the potential [very expensive] wine pairings) for 10 courses though the first was a small bite, the 2nd is 2 bites, and the fourth is essentially a bread course.
Cuisine type: Modern with primarily French influences (I would say Japanese is the next closest.) The menu changes seasonally though I believe the first course is almost always there and I presume the cheese course stays the same outside of potentially changing up cheeses as it appears to be an old signature.
Chef background: Portuguese and Brazilian
Location: West Village behind an art gallery which also changes seasonally like the menu.
Worth it: Possibly. Depends on how much you like nuts as a lot of courses used cashews (with the asparagus sauce in particular reminding me of Moqueca.) I think the cheese course could definitely stay a supplement like it apparently used to be.
This is an impressively presented meal. Think I’ll put this on the list.

Nice photos

The cheese course here was also a highlight for me and the place is perfect for a date. However I found the actual meal to be lackluster. The flavors didn’t really work well together – all beautifully presented for sure, but there just wasn’t cohesion. It felt like the chef threw a bunch of flavors that sounded cool together and that was it. Same feeling about clover hill in Brooklyn.

My obnoxiously long [review](https://www.yelp.com/biz/frevo-new-york?hrid=dca68nPFGQR2S2sMjB4IUA) ~~which will be meaningless when the menu changes~~
Damn this looks really good for a 1 star
