Price: $195/pp, +$70/pp for the water pairing

Apologies for the not further descriptions/bad pics as with it being very dark and poor memory, I’m truly terrible at remembering dishes when they don’t give a written menu to correspond with what’s had, but this was an incredible meal!

They do different seasonal prix-fixe meals, this was Hunter’s Moon. Dishes can vary slightly each day as it’s all directly farm to table and locally sourced (the chef directly spoke to us about the tiny towns and farms each ingredient came from), but overall similar each day of the same ‘moon’ theme.

Some standouts were acorn ‘cheese’, bone marrow ice cream, and some very delicious cloud berry dishes.

But the main thing that makes me want to go back as soon as possible was the water pairing. I’d never heard of one before and after ending too many fine dining meals slightly bored (and a bit too buzzed) after 8 too similar wines, I was excited for this, and I’ve never had water this good before.
I believe there was around eight different waters, some including water from caves, ice bergs, fermented with mushrooms and various flowers, sparkling berry, and marshmallow root. (There was more/these may not be exact, but again- poor memory/no written menu)
