I tried making chik’n salad wraps out of Daring brand chikn, grapes, celery, red onion, and low cal plant based yogurt dressing. Wow they were sooo good and only 162 cals ea with 15 grams of protein. (the whole plate = 274 cals)

  1. The dressing tasted high calorie, but was only 35 cals per wrap.

    Dressing for 2 wraps:

    * 81 g Forager plain yogurt
    * apple cider vinegar / sweetener / dijon mustard / lemon juice / [Jada Chicken Salt](https://www.amazon.com/Chicken-Salt-Australias-Selling-Seasoning/dp/B00P89MGYG) all to taste
    * optional: dill

    FIlling for two wraps:

    * 1.5 servings Daring plant based chickn cooked & shredded
    * 1 stalk celery
    * 1/4 red onion chopped
    * 75 g red grapes

    + Ole brand wellness wrap, lettuce, tomato

    The rest of the plate: pringles / 1/2 nectarine / blackberries

    This is the recipe that inspired me:[https://www.kathysvegankitchen.com/vegan-chicken-salad/](https://www.kathysvegankitchen.com/vegan-chicken-salad/) I made a lot of changes, but mostly kept the same flavors. You can try chickpeas if chik’n isn’t your thing.

  2. I am not sure what I did wrong with Daring chikn when I tried it … But it was way too chewy and springy and firm for me. If you cook it a long time will it soften at all?

  3. Looks good! Would have never thought to include grapes. Raisins, maybe. I’m having a hard time even imagining what the taste / texture would be like with the rest of the ingredients.

  4. What did you use as the actual wrap! I have yet to find a good vegan wrap. Caulipower fell apart almost instantly and Outer Aisle didn’t work too well either.
