Started things off with some grape juice, then came the cheese gougeres, potato mousse with brioche croutons and gelée, Élysée truffle soup, veal sweetbreads with buerre blanc, beef filet with mushroom croute and red wine sauce, cheese course of comte and mont d’or, dessert was an incredibly airy meringue sponge filled with caramel sauce, surrounded by creme anglaise and topped with an impossibly thin strawberry sugar lace, last were the mignardises. Everything was perfectly executed. Service was great. Decor and table flowers were beautiful. I took a solid nap afterwards. $156 total.
