We are flying back from Copenhagen after having dined (although I don’t even know if that is the right word for Alchemist) at these this pasts Weds-Fri. B2B2B is not ideal, obviously, as it makes comparison very difficult to avoid when these are very different places/experiences which makes comparison foolish. But, our situation didn’t permit better spacing.
Each lived up to or exceeded our significantly inflated expectations – the cleverness & experience at Alchemist was mind-blowing, the…”Nomaness” at Noma was precisely what we had hoped, and really, the thing we came away most impressed by was the simply incredible execution (both service and kitchen) at Geranium. If you have a friend/relative who is Fine Dining-curious and you want to show them the best of what it can be with a menu that will not scare them away, this is it.

Wow the plating at Geranium is out of this world!! I’ve always wanted to do a 4-5 night trip to Copenhagen for all 3 places but figured I could never pull of scheduling! How did you manage to get all 3 reservations within 3 days?!
