Wonderful Kaiseki dinner. Dishes were presented with simplicity, yet they were artfully arranged, showcasing an elegant and beautiful presentation. The dishes have a perfect mix of different flavors that work well together; each dish was delicious.
I appreciated chef Tagawa for utilizing of a diverse array of ingredients, crafting a rich and flavorful experience. Like most kaiseki meals, the rice dishes comes with unlimited refills (until the clay pot is empty).
In addition, the chefs and staffs were welcoming and friendly, creating a delightful atmosphere. The sous chef and server explained the food in basic English, just enough to understand.
During my visit, the restaurant was fully booked, and we were the only foreigners.
Note: You are required to take off your shoes; however there were heated matts to warm your feet.
Definitely one of my top meals during my stay in the Kansai Region (Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe).
