Went to locust last year. Left really disappointed especially after all the hype.
Looks like prices increased since I been.
Tartare was bland. Dumplings were lousy. I thought to myself yea this hype is only because its in Nashville. Would not even be talked about elsewhere.
If you in Nashville stick to the catbird seat or rolf and daughters

Beef tartare for $40 that’s crazy

Interesting seeing shrimp toast in a fine dining setting.
When I was 18 I was a delivery driver at a Chinese take-out, I remember them saying the shrimp toast was the longest item to make out of all the regular dishes, so you’d get your food a few minutes later if you ever ordered it.
No idea if that’s the case everywhere.
