  1. One of my most memorable meals in Japan. Cenci is distinctly Japanese, but with a heavy Italian influence. The 12 course tasting menu was full of unexpected dishes, all thoughtfully prepared using local ingredients. The wine pairing contained Italian wines and a few Japanese wildcards, all of which were fantastic choices. Chef Ken Sakamoto was genuinely enthusiastic, and his warm personality shined in the meal as well. 10/10.

  2. Thank you for posting this looks great. Are you able to share how much the meal costs excluding and including beverages?

  3. Thanks for sharing! I’m trying to refine my itinerary for a fall Kyoto trip – this bumps it into my “must go” restaurants
