I use fresh cauliflower. Frozen florets don’t yield the same flavor and texture.

Sauté cauliflower florets in a little bit of cooking oil (about 1 tbsp for one large cauliflower) on medium heat. When about half cooked, add about 1 tsp minced ginger, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1.5 tsp southwest chipotle seasoning, 1/4 tsp ground turmeric and salt to taste. Add some cayenne if you want a bit of a kick. Let sauté until fully cooked on low heat (high heat burns the spices).
Turn the heat off. Serve and enjoy!

Looks like a great way to get veggies in without too much cooking, thank you for this!

  3. I was just thinking about a relatively healthy snacking option, cutting down on same old biscuits or chips. Thanks for this, my evening has been made!

What’s the texture like on stovetop? I absolutely LOVE roasted cauliflower, seasoned any number of ways. I haven’t tried sauté, though, and I’m interested. Looks delicious!
