(Side note, not fine dining but hit up Domenica as well and were super disappointed, skip that one. Also waited over an hour for a spot at Bearcat and it was .. decent? Not wot that wait, but maybe it’s just coming from NYC and similar cities where cafes like that are five a corner, not as much the case in NOLA)

Wins- Shaya, hands down so damn delicious, an absolute do not miss. Service was great, food was incredible, we’d go back a million times
GW- but of a disappointment. Food was good, but not great. Service was good, though!
Saint Germain- delicious and inventive, lots of unique dishes and we loved the progression between the two rooms and of all the dishes /the journey of it all. Service was good, but the bartender was a bit snobby? We’d go again if were booking last minute again and not able to book goal places like Dakar.
Also unrelated food wise, but if you’re there for Mardi Gras would highly recommend getting tickets for Orpheuscapade, a super enjoyable way to experience the parade! And also Mardi Gras world, really interesting. Happy to recommend a great tour on the history of Jodi and voodoo too!
