I tried a new low calorie, high protein flour. 50 cals/ 5 g protein per 1/4 cup. Made biscuits with it and was pleased with the taste (5/5), although they were a little denser than usual, but that’s okay.

Price is high. Package had 7.5 cups for $12. Worth it to me, because I don’t bake that much. Next, I’ll try making choc chip cookies with it.
The biscuits pictured in my post are about 60 cal each. I used a Nora Cooks recipe and the only thing I changed was the flour.
Most importantly – I did not detect any cardboard or weird taste. Only difference, to me, was that the biscuits came out denser and just a little bit drier that reg flour.
The recipe says 16 biscuits, but I was able to get 24 out of the dough. [https://www.noracooks.com/vegan-biscuits](https://www.noracooks.com/vegan-biscuits)
The Recipe has 4 cups of all purpose flour and 1 cup of almond flour. I only replaced the all purpose flour since I assumed the almond flour was there for a reason.

But what is it made out of? How interesting, never heard of this.
