I went to Labyrinth in Singapore for my birthday. Really great interesting food, and great service. I had the dishes as seen in the pictures, but the person I was with had a couple of things they couldn’t eat. Changes were made and we were well taken care of. There was even one if the starters that we really liked (the prata)and my friend joked that they could eat another round of them. A few minutes later, more of them arrived. A really enjoyable experience that I would definitely recommend, especially if someone wanted a real taste of Singapore. There were several dishes I already liked and flavours that I recognised, but elevated to fine dining.

  1. Forgot to mention: The “Lucky Red Egg” wasn’t a normal part of the menu so isn’t listed on the menu photo. It was an extra because it was my birthday. The red shell was white chocolate, the “egg white” was coconut panna cotta, and the “yolk” was a passion fruit custard. I loved it.

  2. Funny, went 6 or so years ago to celebrate our anniversary and we got the same red egg cake thing!

Granted it was 6 years ago now that I went, but god that was an awful meal – no joke one of the worst meals of my life and yes that includes my time in the army.

  3. Went back in 2018 and it was one of my favorite meals in Singapore. Innovative while still honoring Singaporean culinary classics.

I can’t wait to go to Singapore and Shanghai next and explore all the fine dining. Looks great!

  5. Have you been to Seroja? Trying to decide between the two for one of our dinners on an upcoming trip to SG.
