I loved this meal. Probably at the 2* level. The restaurant space is a beautiful converted industrial structure, with a more casual restaurant to one side and Credo on the other. The meal begins with amuses bouches and cocktails on a second-story loft, proceeds to the main dining room (which has a funky feel, not stuffy at all, and quite small, maybe 10 tables, adjacent to an open kitchen), and then finishes with petits fours upstairs.

The staff were wonderful and we were able to meet the chef. The cuisine is Nordic but not precious, techniques are relatively traditional and the focus is local and seasonal ingredients, which in the Norwegian winter means lots of root vegetables and cream. I loved this meal and the unhurried pace. Just highly recommended.

  2. Looks incredible.. looks higher than 1* judging from the pics and descriptions! How much did this cost you?
