Hi, first attempt at curing anything, so be nice. Salt box for 24hrs and hung for 3 weeks, lost about 26% of its weight from after salt cure. im not sure if its too early to eat or not.

More seriously, I think target weight loss should be a minimum of 30% for any project before considering it done, although this does look good besides what looks like some harsh case hardening (hard to be sure from a picture). I would also consider using the equilibrium cure method in the future, more consistent and less wasteful
