    This is from Mastering the Art of French Cooking Vol. 2 by Julia Child. It’s a large homemade brioche loaf hollowed out like a bread bowl, soaked in simple syrup and Kirshwasser cherry brandy, then filled with strawberries and cream and finished with an apricot glaze.
