I asked for feedback a few weeks ago on a big board I made and loved the constructive criticism that many of you gave me. Chief among that feedback: prepare the food with more care and don’t cut veggies like I’m six years old. So, this time I didn’t hardly use any veggies 😂
Truthfully, this was a “clean out the meat and cheese drawer” board and I’m quite happy with the results! I smashed the avacado in a small bowl and added lemon juice to keep from browning. I also had some leftover chimichurri from steak night so threw that in there too. And we love the Kinders sauces so I had to drizzle that on the pastrami. The figs came from the backyard and the goat cheese pairs well with them. Crackers served on the side.
Any other suggestions are appreciated, especially in how to plate things differently.
