If you’re in Prague I’d say it’s a must try. A real gem on our trip. The service was absolutely phenomenal. Goes beyond restaurant service. Just amazingly hospitable people. Our server, the somm and the manager were just incredible. For example, my wife wasn’t feeling great, stomach was off after some food poisoning and the manager checked a couple of times as she didn’t finish all of a dish. He was horrified that she didn’t finish all of her trout or whatever it was. He brought her herbal tea when he found out. Just absolute class. Same went for server and somm.
Food was delicious. Very seasonal. Everything we had was good, we didn’t go full tilt on the menu, got reduced portions but I wish we had the stomach for more. Everything paired well, was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned.
The wine was so good here. SOMM was passionate about Czech wine which I encouraged by the glass. He was so good about it. Brought me extra of all wines and just was so friendly.
Overall just left the place feeling so good about the people there and Czech hospitality as a whole. We had such a nice time over the short time we had here and consistently good experiences like this.
