Stand Étterem (**) Budapest, Hungary
A few months ago I had the pleasure of dining at Stand Étterem. The entire meal was fabulous from the aperitifs, cocktails, and wine paring to the extremely in depth story through the courses.
I dined with work colleagues and my father, my father being someone who always says let’s get pizza after fine dining tasting menus, and left pleasantly surprised with the amount of courses and overall total portions we ended up with. They were very accommodating to a party of 6.
The service was incredible and did not miss a beat. The service was 100% full tilt at all times whether it was presenting the plates to our table in synchronization or clearing the plates the second everyone was down. The sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable as well offering amazing pairings. The service was up there with the best.
I’m missing a lot of courses but this is just a glimpse as to what was offered. If you’re ever in Budapest and looking for a fine dining experience, Stand Étterem is a fabulous option.
