  3. Looks proper! Recipe?
    I’m sure no two people use exactly the same one.
    Mine is a roux base, extra mature cheddar, English mustard powder, Worcester, salt & pepper. Toast done both sides first, then again with the rarebit on it.

    The same sauce is perfect on Philly Cheesesteak too.

    Add an egg and you have a Buck Rarebit.

    Then add bacon for an Elegant Rarebit 🙂

    Welsh Rabbit is absolutely top tier version of cheese on toast.

    Needs Worcestershire sauce or Henderson’s though.
    The beer should be a dark mild, brown ale or porter if poss.
