I don’t know where you live, but assuming you have a good place near you to buy fresh seafood, you can always prepare them yourself at home.
All you need is a shucking knife.
I may be spoiled living in the Pacific Northwest, but I can buy high quality oysters for $1 each to shuck at home. Whereas in restaurants here they are typically at least $3 each.
