There was a film that i remember seeing many years ago that i believe used this type of apple. It had been filled with maggots and portrayed an ‘infected’ crop on a farm in America.
I’m not sure of the film, but it has always stuck in my mind, so seeing this answers some questions for me.

I have these in the fridge and I keep forgetting haha, I saw the pink flesh and they were on offer, grabbed them and now you’ve reminded me, I’m gonna have one when I get home.
How do they compare to other apples, similar taste to any others or is it unique?
