It depends. Green and white mold is ok, black is bad. Easy to confuse black for pepper depending on the recipe.
If there is no black mold, I’d give her a vinegar scrub, full strength, and final fresh water scrub…dry and rehang..then watch again.

This looks totally fine (imo get others for sure) the green mold is normal and when you rub it looks really dark almost black. Like others said take casing off and either vinegar or redwine and wipe that off regardless.

I’m not a mycologist, but I think this looks fine. Like others have said, I’d give it a vinegar scrub, get all visible mold off, and hang it back up to finish. Keep an eye on what grows. I don’t see anything slimy or fuzzy. Smells ok, I assume?
