Tastes great both hot or cold as in a pasta-salad style 🙂
Recipe for 2 servings:
1. Boil ca. 200 grams of penne al dente.
2. Slice 3 cloves of garlic thinly.
3. Olive oil is the “pasta sauce” here, so pour as much oil as you think would make the cooked pasta slimy into a pan. Add the garlic and cook it on low heat until the slices are soft but not brown. Take out the garlic- we don’t want to burn it, because we’ll use the oil in the next step.
4. Cut 100 grams of tempeh into small cubes and brown them in the garlicky oil.
5. Meanwhile put a steamer rack into a pot and add a bit of water- bring it to boil. Place like 100 grams of small broccoli florets (fresh or frozen) onto the steamer, put the lid on and steam it for 6 minutes.
6. In a big bowl, combine the pasta, oil from the pan, garlic, broccoli and tempeh. Serve with a sprinkle of your favourite hard cheese and enjoy!
