Cleaning out this fridge I bought used and it had mold in the freezer. I got out everything I could see, but wonderinig if spores could be lingering.
Looks like it has a built in dehumidifier that fitlers into the freezer from the fridge. From there the moisture gets sucked up into a vent, but I guess some drips down.
Would you be concerned that lingering mold could be harmful for drying meats, or am I being paranoid?
Any tips to ensure it is sanitized?
I plan to spray and wipe it with a bleach and water solution. Clorox recommends then rinsing with water, but the CDCs guidance doesn’t mention rinsing after applying the bleach solution. Guessing rinsing can’t hurt. Thoughts?
Thank you!!
