1932 was, from a dining point of view, the highlight of our trip to Thailand and Cambodia. Food was not necessarily innovative, but was a great introduction to elevated Cambodian cuisine.

Excluding the soup that was a bit too sour for my taste, everything else was delicious. Drinks were not only cute, but also tasted great and I think were a good pairing to the food. The space was elegant and the service was very good, although we would have appreciated some additional insights into the dishes.

Highly recommended if you visit Siem Reap and Angkor. Disclaimer, much more expensive than even the “fancier” restaurants in town. The tasting menu was ~$90.

PS: In entree picture, the side dishes were rice (in green pot) and stir fried morning glory.

  2. Looks lovely. I was just in Siem Reap – did you have the chance to make it to Cuisine Wat Damnak? I think it’s the best in the city (perhaps even the country)!
