Atomix is becoming one of my favorite fine dining experiences. I’ve always enjoyed Korean food and, using that as the inspiration, Chef JP explores its roots married to incredible technique that produces complex, beautiful, delicious food. The menu cards and their stories educate and inform. Too often fine dining restaurants provide too limited a summary of ingredients and components – Atomix peels back that curtain.
Highlights of this meal were:
Uni and corn cake, a perfectly balanced bite
Scallop and mushroom, rich umami saucework with sweet scallop cooked ever so slightly
Silkie chicken and mandoo dumplings – the best bowl of soup I’ve ever had
Galbi with A5 Wagyu
Korean pear “palate cleanser”

Looks really incredible
We just had that menu last night! The langoustine and the soup were particularly incredible
Is this a good restaurant to eat solo or are most guests on dates?
Would you describe any of the courses as particularly spicy?
