I ate at this outstanding 2* restaurant when I was solo travelling and managed to book a table for lunch, I think from memory, the day before! That did not put me off however, the food was amazing and the service matched this. I’d happily return if visiting NYC.

Personally speaking, my least favorite 2 star in NYC. With that said, it’s much better than most 1 stars.
