I have been trying to simplify my cooking for speed and cost: less ingredients and less spices.

Here is a really simple recipe!

1 tbsp olive oil (or whatever oil.. I use olive for everything)
1/2 square of extra firm tofu, cubed
1 handful (about 6) white button mushrooms, roughly cut
2 tsp sriracha
Drizzle of Korean barbecue sauce (I lost the label, so I don’t know the brand)

Heat oil on med-high.
Add tofu, cook until slightly brown, about 4 minutes
Add mushrooms, cook roughly 2 minutes
Add soy sauce, cook 1 minutes
Add sriracha, cook 1 minute

Transfer to plate and add drizzle

Done!

I would normally add some rice but I was lazy this morning!

  1. I really like spice mixes you can get at those spice stores or online (or maybe even the grocery store) to simplify process without compromising flavor 😊
