Made my fiancé a 3 course dinner. Im a home cook btw

Course 1: pan seared scallops with buerre blanc, basil pea purée, topped with white caviar

Course 2: Gnocchi with truffle pesto and bacon

Course 3: picanha is with red wine Demi and Pom purée

  1. looks great, i like the idea of paper towel as napkins lol

    just a few comments:

    – although plating is subjective, i feel like the first course might’ve looked a bit better in a bowl with a small pool of that basil purée with the scallops huddled closer

    – a bit too much floral decorations for my taste lol

    – that pommes purée looks a bit thick, i would recommend trying robuchon’s mashed potato recipe which is honestly perfect for every occasion if you’re not counting calories

  2. Love this! If we had more diners cooking here would love to see a weekly or monthly thread with everyone’s dishes and plating
