My thoughts. Everywhere has done the raw scallop for years, in my eyes it’s outdated/basic and this didn’t stand out.
I looked at the baked cod with buttermilk sauce on top as the same, basic, ordinary cooking that has been overdone for years.
The food was nice, sure, but at £120pp and increasing by £30pp in April, seems crazy to me.
Nothing was exciting.
The pancakes at the end were a bit ‘wtf is this’ and seemed to only serve the purpose of filling us up.
