Nice meal, did you find the dining room oppressive ? I did. Too small, too many staff stood on hand.

Whats the deal with the pear? Is that pear reconstituted to look like a pear or is that just a straight up pear on a plate? Cuz if its A then im super impressed how close they got it looks wise, but if its B it just seems like an awkward eat. Like im all for a “figs on a plate” thing but are you just bare handing a pear?

The plates in picture 1 and 12 always piss me off. They’re always scuffed, chipped, scratched, you name it. Yours might be the worst I’ve seen. That’s unacceptable at the prices he’s charging.

Did they tone down the bitterness of the chocolate in the amuse bouche? It was overwhelming to the point that it ruined the next several courses for me when I was there last month. Never had an experience like that in my life.
Their main course was a let down as well- don’t advertise grilled venison and then not have venison. I get that it was mixed in but it was like the Breadless Bread course.

I’m going in August, very excited, although I believe the tasting menu will likely change by then

God I think about this meal all the time. Would love to go again on a different season.
