I went here last May with a friend and it was such an amazing experience! I brought my dad with me when he visited in December and they saw somehow that it was my second time! They brought us some complementary champagne. The foods were so good, absolute perfection.

I went in November. I love Californios so much and want to go back soon! The best meal of my life so far, and sooooo many courses too. (My stomach was exploding by the end, haha, but I was so happy.)

The description is very detailed. For example, referencing the banana was Cavendish (a regular banana) tricked me into thinking it must be a Gros Michel (the banana of the past before fruit companies, and the banana of the future when the Cavendish is wiped out).
Menu is very interesting, familiar and yet alien.

Love this place. Went there last winter. Sit at the bar and drink some tequila if you are so inclined. We used to go to old location (around 5-6 tables + chef’s bar seating), I can say the new space is amazing. I know they were hoping for their third star this year…
