**1. Caladonian Blue Shrimp, Corn Panna Cotta, Tomato Jam, Caviar, Eggplant **

Flavors were fresh and light. A good start to the course.

**2. Celery + Truffle Vinaigrette, Tamagoyaki + Spiny Lobster, Wagyu Nikomi, Fennel + Mizuna + Pecan, Orange Gelee, Grilled Shiitake, Buri Spring Roll**

Overall, the many dishes were mediocre. One of the things that massively disappointed me was the orange gelee, which had the texture of a jello mix and taste of under flavored jello.

**3. Sayori, Chive, Finger Lime**

Fresh and acidic.

**4. Lobster, Hakusai, Shimeji, Carrot**

The soup was light but flavorful. However the grilled lobster was overcooked such that the texture was very rubbery and unpleasant.

**5. Traditional Sashimi**

Delicious and fresh.

**6. Amadai, Celeriac Puree, Tomatillo + Black Garlic, Ponzu, Cabbage Glass Chip**

The dish was quite unique as the fish still retained scales which made the fish tender on the inside but crisp on the outside.

**7. Ika + Clam Shinjo, Satoimo, Fennel, Nori + Yuzu Dashi**

The flavors of this dish felt too simplistic at a Michelin restaurant.

**8. Spaghetti, Abalone, Pickled Cod Roe, Truffle**

This dish was absolutely sensational. Great depth of flavor. Everything was cooked to perfection.

**9. A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Beef, Baby Carrot, Goma, Gobo**

Having had wagyu at almost every fine dining restaurant, this is one like many others.

**10. Oyster, Citrus Ponzu, Namasu Oroshi**

This dish was also very lightly seasoned. The flavors of the ingredients are great, but feel overly simplistic and not enough of a gastronomic experience.

**11. Nigiri Sushi**
(6 in total but I missed the photo of the other 3)

Absolutely fantastic sushi. This restaurant nailed the one thing that many sushi restaurants with top end ingredients overlook. Rice. Well made sushi rice coupled with great technique perfectly complements the fish resting on top of the rice. One of the finest made sushi in all of Los Angeles.

**12. Bergamot Sorbet, Sweet Ginger Gelee, Lime Meringue**

I forgot to take a photo for this dish. The flavors were simplistic, but a decent palate cleanser for dessert.

**Rum Baba, Cheesecake ice Cream, Miso Crunch, Blood Orange + Mango**

At first, I tried each component separately and felt that they were lackluster. But coupled together on one spoon, they become one amazing orchestra.

One slightly annoying thing. I was told the deposit would be applied to the final bill but it was not, so I had to go out of my way to recover my deposit by calling them.
