  1. The best tasting menu in LA, in my opinion. I have dined at Kato twice in the past few months, and have been astounded at how thoughtful and delicious every dish was. Their new DTLA space is stunning. My favorite dish overall was their uni-filled donut, which I wished was a full sized donut, and that I had at least 6 of them. This bite alone is worth the price of admission ($225 per person).
Please note, my photos do not represent the entire tasting menu, and some dishes are modified as I am pescatarian. The rest of my party enjoyed duck, Wagyu, iberico ham, etc.

  2. UNI FILLED DONUT HELLO yes I’d like to place an order I’ll pay whatever you want

Also is that cucumber in the first picture?

  3. Any info on the other wines? I’m typically disappointed with wine pairings and find them lazy most of the time. Vintage grower champagne has piqued my interest for the rest of the wines

First heard of Kato from their Eater video at their old location. Heard they got a new bigger location.

Very exciting and delicious looking food, and creative imagination. 🙂
